Kearney rues 'costly' missed opportunities

Ireland full-back Rob Kearney says his side paid the price for failing to take a number of opportunities in the 22-9 Six Nations defeat by Wales in Cardiff.

"It was hugely physical..we had a few opportunities, but didn't take them, so that proved very costly in the end. The margins are so fine," said Kearney.

Despite the result dealing a serious setback to Ireland's hopes of winning the Six Nations, the Leinster player indicates that the squad will have no problem with motivation for their final match of the tournament against England in Dublin on 18 March.
