Rodney Parade: Brian Price has concerns over ground development in WRU takeover

Former Newport RFC and Wales captain Brian Price is concerned WRU takeover of Dragons could lead to commercial development at Rodney Parade.

Price was captain of the Newport team that beat New Zealand 3-0 in 1963 - the only defeat on their New Zealand tour of Europe that season.

The Welsh Rugby Union have announced their intention to take over the running of the Dragons and the ground by 1 July.
