Mixu Paatelainen & Maurice Malpas on Dundee United struggle

Dundee United head coach Mixu Paatelainen is hoping to increase "competition for places" in his squad with signings.

His side are currently 11 points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership - having only secured two wins this season - but the Finn is optimistic his players can turn things around.

Meanwhile, former United captain Maurice Malpas believes it would be a "massive comeback" if his old club manages to avoid relegation.
