Three-time world champion Nick Matthew talks about his expectations for this year's World Championship and his eventful last 12 months.
Matthew, 34, won his second successive gold in the Commonwealth Games in August, and his first child was born shortly afterwards.
The world number three will open his championship defence against a qualifier in Qatar on Saturday, and says any further title success would be "a bonus".
British former world number one James Willstrop, Matthew's long-standing rival, misses out through injury. The women's World Championship take place in December at Niagara on the Lake, Canada, with Britain's Laura Massaro the defending champion.
