Dan Sliwinski: Funding cut affecting sporting and social life

Dan Sliwinski's professional and social life has been affected by his cut in funding from UK Sport.

Preston-born swimmer Sliwinski, 22, had his funding reduced after a shoulder injury ruled him out of London 2012.

His mother, Christine Denton, tells BBC Radio Lancashire that the amount of money he currently receives - around £500 per month - is not even enough to cover his rent.
