Firth wins gold despite broken toe

Paralympic champion Bethany Firth wins gold in the 100m backstroke at the British International event in Manchester, despite a broken toe.

The 18-year-old from Northern Ireland, who has learning difficulties, tells BBC Sport's Nick Hope she suffered the injury as she fell getting out of the pool on Wednesday.

Firth, who will compete in able-bodied events at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, dominated the backstroke event.
