Venus Williams 'not at her best' in French Open defeat

Venus Williams admits she "wasn't her best" after suffering a 6-2 6-3 defeat by Agnieszka Radwanska in the second round of the French Open at Roland Garros.

The seven-time Grand Slam winner credits Radwanska for playing "really well", and has already turned her attention to the Olympic Games, joking that she would throw a javelin if it meant winning a medal in London.

Williams' sister Serena was knocked out of the tournament 24 hours earlier, and when asked about her state of mind, Venus quips: "She has 20-something majors to keep her warm at night so I think she'll be fine".
