Roger Federer beats David Ferrer ATP World Tour Finals

Roger Federer becomes the first man to qualify for the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals with victory over David Ferrer.

The Wimbledon champion eased to a 6-4 7-6 (7-5) win in one hour and 48 minutes to take his 14th consecutive victory over the Spaniard, a man he has still never been defeated by.

Federer will play Juan Martin del Potro in his last Group B match on Saturday, with world number five Ferrer facing Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic.
