Murray 'unlikely' to play in French Open

British number one Andy Murray says he is unlikely to be fit for the French Open at Rolland Garros this month, though it remains "possible".

The 26-year-old retired from his second-round match against Marcel Granollers at the Italian Open with a lower-back injury and says he has been struggling with the injury since last year's clay court season.

The French Open begins in Paris on 26 May and Murray says he will rest and seek advice over the next few days before deciding whether he will play there.
