Watson 'gutted' at French Open exit

Britain's Heather Watson tells BBC tennis correspondent Jonathan Overend that she is "gutted" to lose in the first round of the French Open, going down 6-4 2-6 6-4 to Switzerland's Stefanie Voegele.

In her first game since being diagnosed with glandular fever in April, Watson played "very well" to battle for nearly two hours and was reminded "how much it hurts to lose".

With Andy Murray absent through injury, Watson's defeat means that there is no British player in the second round at Roland Garros for the first time since 2007, following tame exits by Laura Robson and Elena Baltacha.
