Heather Watson 'improving' despite Indian Wells exit

British number one Heather Watson says she will "stay positive and keep improving" despite her fourth-round defeat by Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro at Indian Wells.

Watson, 22, had impressed in beating seventh seed Agnieszka Radwanska in round three, but suffered a frustrating 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 6-1 loss to the world number 13 in the last 16.

Watson - who confirms she has been training with former US Open finalist Greg Rusedski - has still enjoyed one of the best weeks of her career and will collect £40,000 and 120 ranking points as she looks to surpass her career high of 38 in the world.
