Brownlee beaten in thrilling sprint

Britain's Alistair Brownlee is pipped to the finish line by Spain's Javier Gomez in a nail-biting finish to the Yokohama triathlon.

Brownlee, Gomez and fellow Spaniard Mario Mola broke away during the run, but Mola fell back to third as the pair battled for the lead.

The 27-year-old Briton admitted the run was "tough" and the cycle was the worst he'd ever felt during a race.
