Lee Selby: Boxing world champion 'honoured' by Barry bus parade

New IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby says he feels "honoured and blessed" after hundreds of people lined the streets of Barry as he travelled through his home town on a celebratory open-top bus tour, which ended with a presentation on Barry Island promenade.

The Welshman, 28, won his first world title on 30 May, beating Russia's Evgeny Gradovich at London's O2 Arena to become Wales' 12th boxing world champion.

Selby, who hopes his first defence will be in Cardiff in September, says he wants to become a "legend" in the sport and to inspire youngsters.
