Elite League: Cardiff Devils 3-7 Nottingham Panthers

The two best teams in the Elite Ice Hockey League faced each other on the weekend with the top place up for grabs.

Cardiff Devils were on a 13-game winning streak at home, but Nottingham Panthers ended that.

The Welsh capital team's next three matches are in Scotland, the first on Friday 4 December at Edinburgh Capitals followed by visits to Braehead Clan and Dundee Stars.
