Double downhill disaster in 2010

Watch highlights of a dramatic women's downhill competition at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010.

The course was labelled as extremely difficult for the skiers and most training runs were cancelled due to weather conditions.

Consecutive competitors Marion Rolland of France and Swedish skier Anja Paerson both fell foul of the course. Rolland slipped almost straight out of the start gate, with Paerson losing balance on the very last jump, resulting in a 60-metre flight and subsequent fall, without suffering any serious injuries.
