Ski Sunday Extra: Tina Weirather wins Giant Slalom in Val d'Isere

Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein gets her first World Cup Giant Slalom win, extending her lead in the overall standings to 27 points.

The 24-year-old was last to go after finishing fastest in the first run, and smashed Swiss Lara Gut's time by 0.73 seconds in the French resort of Val d'Isere.

Germany's Maria Hoefl-Riesch, who had trailed Weirather by five points, slipped to third in the standings after a disappointing first leg.
