England's Chris and Gabby Adcock were comfortably beaten in the French Open mixed doubles final by Indonesian duo Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir.

The married pair found it tough going as they lost 21-9 21-16 in 33 minutes at the Pierre de Coubertin Stadium in Paris.

"It was a tough final and annoyingly we didn't play well," said Gabby Adcock.

"We started to find our way in the second game, but by then it was a bit too late. We are both disappointed."

The Indonesians raced away with the first game after opening up a 10-2 advantage.

The Adcocks were briefly ahead in the second at 8-7 before Ahmad and Natsir fought back to close out the match.
