Plymouth Raiders sign Belgian guard Sebastien Maio

Maio has hit more than 30% of his three-point efforts in the past two seasons

Plymouth raiders have signed 6'3" Belgian guard Sebastien Maio for the upcoming BBL season.

Maio, 33, has played in a host of leagues around Europe including Germany, Switzerland, Spain and the Czech Republic.

Last season he averaged 10 points per game for Czech side Basketbol Brno and made 33% of his three-point shots.

"It's going to be great to have someone with Sebastien's experience," said Raiders chief executive Dave Briggs.

"He's played in some very tough leagues around Europe and will bring us maturity and versatility as he can play the point guard, shooting guard and the small forward position," added Briggs.
