Plymouth Raiders sign American guard Ryan Read

Read hit more than a third of his three-point attempts last season

Plymouth Raiders have signed American shooting guard Ryan Read for the upcoming BBL season.

The 27-year-old will not count against the club's foreign player limit as he holds an Italian passport.

Read, who is 6'3", averaged 11.3 points per game last season for Spanish LEB Silver league side Adreilu Santurtzi.

"Ryan is a good shooter with great range and works very hard at the defensive end," said Raiders head coach Gavin Love.

"It's great to have Ryan on board, he had a very solid year in Spain's LEB Silver having many outstanding performances."
