Bell made a strong start to Raiders' BBL Championship campaign

Plymouth Raiders eased to victory in their first match of their BBL Championship season as they beat Milton Keynes Lions 92-76 at the Pavilions.

Lehmon Colbert led the scoring for Plymouth with 25 points while last year's BBL MVP Jeremy Bell scored 21 on his home debut.

Raiders led for most of the game and opened up a 49-36 gap at half time.

Despite a third-quarter comeback from the Lions Plymouth ended the game with a 19-6 run to seal a 16-point win.
