Plymouth Raiders crushed Leicester Riders 84-62 at the Pavilions to go fifth in the BBL Championship.

Plymouth were on top for most of the match and led by seven points going into the final period.

But it was the final quarter when they blew the visitors away with a 25-10 run to get their third win from five games and ruin Leicester's 100% BBL record.

Cameron Rundles led all scorers with 20 points for Riders while Paul Williams led the way for Raiders with 19 points.

Lehmon Colbert hit 18 points and captain Anthony Rowe scored 16 for the hosts.

The defeat rounded off a miserable weekend for Riders who lost their BBL Cup second leg against Newcastle Eagles 73-61 on Friday night.

Riders drew the home leg 90-90 but were unable to prevent the Eagles booking their place against either Plymouth or Worcester Wolves at the National Indoor Arena next month.
