Coach Rob Paternostro has told his Leicester Riders side he does not want anyone moping about and seeking excuses after last week's double defeat.
Riders lost the second leg of the BBL Cup semi-final in Newcastle on Friday and were well beaten by the Raiders in the BBL Championship two days later.
Leicester can put things right when they host Durham Wildcats on Saturday.
Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester: "The message was 'shut up about it and figure out a way to get it right'.
Riders drew the first leg of a pulsating semi-final with the Eagles 90-90 but could not match their heroics on Friday despite a brave display in the north east.
And following a tough turnaround and long trek to the south west on Sunday, Leicester came up short in their quest to gain a fifth successive BBL win on the spin.
"It's one of those weekends you would like to forget but you can't," Paternostro added.
"Nobody feels sorry for us, so don't feel sorry for yourself.
"We have to understand why we didn't get the job done and, whatever reason that may be, we have to get better.
"It's a challenge in a lot of areas. It's not just on the court, it's preparation in terms of taking care of ourselves because I thought on Sunday we were tired.
"We got home late on Saturday morning but if you have lived the life of a BBL player or coach you know that those things will occur and that travel will be difficult so you can't sit around all week and say 'it was tough and it was a long trip'.
"We went to two tough places. There well a be a lot of teams that will go there and lose but we don't want to be like a lot of teams, we want to figure out a way to get the job done.
"We have had a great start and we have enjoyed it but nothing is decided in December and you have to take care of yourself so you can battle through the rigours of a BBL season.
"It's a response that we need."
