Leicester Riders coach Rob Paternostro is thrilled by his side's form after a sixth win from seven BBL games.
Riders lie fourth in the table after the stunning 99-75 victory over title rivals Worcester Wolves.
Paternostro praised the defending of Drew Sullivan, Ayron Hardy and Barry Lamble and also hailed their attack.
"Bradd Wierzbicki was important. He was able to hit some shots that kept us in a good position, and in the second half Cameron Rundles was on fire," he said.
"He was making shots from everywhere which was a huge lift."
Leicester have games in hand over all their rivals and Paternostro said the display at Wolves in their only festive fixture on 28 December was a huge boost.
"Worcester have proven that they are a good team and to get a win at their place was satisfying," Paternostro added.
"In the first half I was disappointed because we made mental errors that cost us and at half-time we needed to make sure we were on the same page defensively.
"In the second half I thought defensively we played very well.
"Drew Sullivan and Ayron Hardy were instrumental in our performance defensively. Both are extremely versatile which allows us to play defence certain ways. I like what Barry Lamble gave us off the bench. He is playing very well at the moment. His energy has been impressive and he gives us a veteran presence on the floor."
Riders return to action on Saturday when they are away against Durham Wildcats on Saturday.
