Leicester Riders beaten by Plymouth Raiders
Leicester Riders were unable to build on a superb start as they suffered a 93-81 defeat away against title-chasing Plymouth Raiders in the BBL on Sunday.
Leicester, who ensured their place in the play-offs with a 91-68 victory over Worcester on Friday, raced into a 14-4 lead against the Raiders.
The hosts hit back with runs of 10-0 and 12-0 to lead 52-43 at half-time.
Riders did close the gap to three points at one stage, but Plymouth eased to victory in a strong final period.
Paul Williams led the Raiders scorers with 26 points and Jeremy Bell scored 21. Leicester's Bradd Wierzbicki was the game's top scorer with 28 points.
