Plymouth Raiders seal Tom Woods signing

Plymouth Raiders have signed forward Tom Woods ahead of the start of the new British Basketball League season.
Woods, 22, who has joined from Italian side Altamura, impressed new coaches Jay Marriott and David Brock in trials.
"Tom's hungry to make a name for himself and takes pride in being the hardest worker on court," said Brock.
"His intensity epitomises the style of play that we want the team to adopt this season and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have signed him."
Woods has agreed a one-year deal and said he was looking forward to the prospect of playing in the BBL.
"I'm really excited to have signed with the Raiders for the coming season," he added.
"This is something I've wanted for a long time, and I want to thank the coaches for giving me this opportunity. I can't wait to get started with the team."
