NBA: Sim Bhullar to become its first player of Indian descent
Sim Bhullar looks set to make his debut for Sacramento Kings on Saturday to become the first player of Indian descent to play in the NBA.
The Canada-born centre signed a 10-day contract to join the Kings roster ahead of the game with New Orleans Pelicans.
At 7ft 5in, Bhullar will also become the tallest man currently playing in the NBA.
The 22-year-old signed for the Kings in August 2014 and has been playing for their affiliate team Reno Bighorns.
