Alison Merrien and Carol Ingrouille win British isles pairs title

Guernsey duo Alison Merrien and Carol Ingrouille have won the British Isles Indoor Bowls Championships.
The duo beat England's Margaret Sowden and Ann Lennie 25-14 in the final in County Durham.
The pair had beaten Scotland's Stacey Laidlaw and Gaynor Blair 19-15 in the preliminary round before defeating Ireland's Helen Wilson and Liz Bruce 25-17 in the semi-finals.
