Lee Haskins says he is ready to challenge on the world stage after winning the WBA inter-continental and IBF International bantamweight title.
The British super-flyweight champion from Bristol sealed a 12-round victory over Mohamed Boulegcha in Morocco on Thursday evening.
"I think I boxed fantastically - I put him down twice so everything went perfectly," he told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I think I'm ready for the world stage; that's where I should be."
He added: "I believe 100% I'm going to be world champion."
Haskins had not competed for over a year after a string of cancellations but now has his sights set on the defence of his title.
"I want to keep active and maybe defend the belt," he said.
"I want to see what happens from now. Before this fight I was having problems getting matches because no one would fight me.
"Now hopefully they've seen this and I can go and get a few more fights now."
