Commonwealth super-bantamweight champion Carl Frampton is being lined up to make his US debut on a major bill on 30 December.

Frampton's Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that the Belfast man could fight on a bill in Arkansas that will be headlined by Jermain Taylor.

Former world middleweight champion Taylor is making his return to the ring on the Little Rock bill.

"Carl could end up as chief support for the show," added Hearn.

"I've had a chat with my good friend Lou DiBella and he's looking at the possibility of bringing one of our fighters to the Jermain Taylor show for HBO.

"It would be a great chance for Carl to get out there and get some exposure to a US audience."

Hearn also added that both Frampton and Paul McCloskey could fight in the US on St Patrick's Day as support bouts to the proposed world middleweight title contest between Sergio Martinez and Matthew Macklin.
