Early days for Jnr but I wish him well. He hasn't the power yet but neither did Cleverley not long ago. Some develop it as they progress.Regarding Collins v Eubank 1, we will never know if Chris would've won but he hesitated when he had Stevie virtually out on his feet. Pre-Watson Eubank wasn't gunshy but was complacent. His notorious complacency & Collins' sheer determination may have swung it.

Best of luck to junior, its impossible to tell at this point what he can achieve as hes just starting out in the pro ranks.Great to see him on terrestial tv.
a) I do not think Eubank was ever really the same after the Watson fight. He could, and did, still KO people but there was an edge missing.b) Collins is a grossly under estimated fighter. He was not flashy, not a one punch KO king he just did everything reasonably well and was tidy in defence.Collins was the better fighter because of better work rate
@49Held back? what a ridiculous comment. Eubank had 3 KO's to his name prior to the Watson fight and 4 there after. So i suppose he only held back in the Collins fight did he?The lame excuses wheeled out for Eubank is truly laughable. He was beaten twice by Collins fair and square. Collins had a far superior fight record than him when they both retired. Eubank a better fighter ? pffft!!
Eubank Snr owned twice by Collins? What a load of nonsense. It's evident to anyone with an open mind that Eubank held back against Collins and equally so against Carl Thompson. As has been stated already, Eubank was never the same after the Watson fight. You shouldn't let personal opinions of him cloud your judgement.
It shows what a great period in british boxing the Eubank, Collins and Benn period was that people still argue about it. In my view Eubank was the best of the three but really struggled to deal with what he did to Micheal Watson and wasn't the same fighter after to be honest quite understandably. Collins and benn were great fighters mind. On CEjnr lets hope he has his dads chin and heart!
#GalaxyI'm not going to say that SC was rubbish becasue he wasn't. SC was a true warrior and his record speaks for himself. CE fought everyone and anyone but what happened in the Michael Watson fight changed his mentality. Where he would put people away previously he seemd reluctant to after. He had Collins in trouble and let him off the hook. As for dodgy decisions, sadly thats boxing
You can argue all you want about who was the best, but what would you give to have 3 boxers of the calibre of Eubank, Benin and Collins fighting now?
Never seen Eubank fight anyone of this calibre by the age of 25?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjBJ0F9O3csYet somehow he was past it just three years later? LOLWhat about the Amaral, Close, Schommer & Sherry fights? WBO refs ensured he got the right result.Eubank, a great showman and that is all. Owned TWICE by Collins & beat no one of real note aside from Benn.
@42 Remus McClellan beaten by Benn who in turn was beaten by Eubank who in turn were both beaten by Collins twice and please give up that pathetic excuse of past it, a 28 year old unbeaten fighter(Eubank) past it? Oh Puuurlease. Watson was also beaten by Eubank & was KO'd by McCallum who Collins took the distance & lost on points too. Yet you say i know very little about boxing...hahaha joker!
Steve Collins the best fighter Eubank ever fought? Hmmmm, does the name Joe Calzaghe ring any bells???
@mja It seems you know very little about boxing to say Collins was the best fighter Chriss fought just makes you look stupid. Eubanks, Ben Watson, Gerald MCClellan, all would have cleaned they boots with Collins in their prime. Collins fought Ben and Eubanks when they both were shot fighters far from in their prime that's the only reason he beat both. Collins was a good fighter not a great.
@MjaSo a GREAT fighter is beaten TWICE by an above AVERAGE fighter? And as i stated before unbeaten and past his best at 28...are you deluded? LOLTake a look at both boxers records, Eubank fought no one until he beat Benn. No comparison to who Collins fought. In fact the best fighter Eubank fought was undoubtedly Collins, so it was no shame that he LOST BOTH fights.
