@61 true, but unlike Manny, Mayweather has no class. His gangsta ghetto bling persona is embarrassing. Not least in how it influences our very own Lewis Hamilton.. he of the gangsta rapper ladies earrings

Either way both are legends..lets all hope that they both walk out the ring in one piece.
Mayweather was asked if he had read the stories about him being illiterate. Suffice to say, he hadn't.
Brummiedude - I hope sportmanship prevails. But when you look at Manny's story it is so inspiring he deserves to win and have a look at his trainer "Freddy Roach" what a great story there they deserve to win sorry FM the party is over
Both past their prime but it is the dollars they stand to make that count. Can not see Mayweather wanting his looks damaged so expect a slippery and constantly moving person that Manny will be lucky to catch. Would love Manny to win but can not see it.Oh for boxers to fight in their prime but politics as usual get in the way
@Oscar - FM will win this. He and his 0 is so protected now, would not be surprised if Manny has points deducted for hitting FM to hard or not standing still long enough for FM to hit
@Oscarr55True, but you should point out that Manny made Oscar come down to 140lbs and Mayweather fought him at 154lbs... Oscar was totally drained before that fight.I could point out that Manny has been beaten by Marquez three times and Mayweather schooled him.But in reality triangulating fighters is pointless, as it means nothing
Remember the Fight between Dela hoya and Mayweather could of gone either way May weather got the nod. But if i remember rightley i think Manny gave Oscar a boxing lesson . ps FM needs to be on his game for this one, and Manny has the eye of the Tiger ps i like FM's cars
@BrummiePBF almost always fight sin Vegas, reason is that they get paid to hold it there, as opposed to paying the venue. The extra influx of people a fight of this magnitude brings is like printing money to the casinos (7 of which are owned by MGM)
@52 I had wondered that too. Esp as when the fight was first discussed many years ago, Cowboy Stadium in Dallas was mentioned. For a fight that venue could hold 100,000. I thought the smaller venue was a reflection that this fight might not generate the level of interest anymore to warrant a bigger venue
Hope i'm wrong but I can't see any other outcome other than a Mayweather points victory. On another note - does anyone know why its being held in such a tiny venue as opposed to a huge stadium/arena that could hold 5 times more fans? Is it because the MGM Grand pay them top $$ for the privilidge of holding the fight?
id love Manny to win, but cant see it. legend regardless.
