Josie Harris originally described it as: 'Did he beat me to pulp? No, but I had bruises, contusions, and a concussion...' Now she is suing Mayweather for $20 million as she claims it has turned her into a drug addict. Only in America.
"Floyd spun that and made millions, a very clever gentle man"LMAO!This "gentle man" has a rap sheet as long as your arm - stretching back more than a decade - for violence against women.Back under your bridge...
Easy for Mayweather to win when he practiced boxing on his ex-girlfriend.
On Friday, two talentless chumps meet on FNF. Fight fans, i.e. non-boxing fans, need to watch Amir Mansour vs. Joey Dawejko. For boxing fans, Andre Ward is back on June 20th. For fans of both, Golovkin is back in 11 days time.
The comments on this thread are ridiculous. Any talentless chump can go to war with someone and knock ten bells out of each other. What Mayweather brings is on another planet entirely - the ability to hit without being touched and a defensive master the likes of which will never be seen again. I could watch and admire his talent and skill all night long.
@393 Way to troll me when I couldn't be bothered watching.Threads dead, few seem to understand boxing, comments are pointless.
Mayweather best fighter ever pfffft! He hasn't got a patch on any of the greats.
The surprise from some people at the result and the way the fan panned out, is well, surprising.History told you what would happen, all the experts told you what would happen and if you listened to anyone who knew anything about boxing there was only ever one result.PBF top 5 of all time
Shocking how Manny was so easily bamboozled with one easy tacic. Roach did a lot of trash talking but very little training. Boxing fans know that Manny jabs before he throws the left. And everytime he touched Floyd's glove with the jab, Floyd just pivoted clockwise and Manny's lethal left hit thin air.And tbh, Pac won one round. The rest he was awarded on workrate
This is a victory for hype only sold on personalitiesMayweather hasn't produced knockouts for a while and boxes (not fights) on the retreat. Paquiao is a come forward 2 handed fighter with good boxing skills, slower than he'd like, perhaps past his best and doubtless fearing a repeat of his bad knockout the fight before last.Even Mayweathers fight with his girlfriend went to the judges.
Mayweather turned a potential block buster into a sparring session.
Manny a great ambassador, Floyd a great business boxer.Years ago fighters were managed and were left for dead, boxers beat to a pulp. Then came along a genius, Floyd. No longer does a boxer have to suffer, or die, just manage money and get out when ya can. It's a brain damage sport, the more dangerous the more interest, Floyd spun that and made millions, a very clever gentle man, brilliant z
I much prefer Manny as both a fighter and a man, but to be fair the best boxer won on the night. Saying that, I think it would of been a much better fight 5 years ago as Pacquiao is clearly past his best. Mayweather has fought a lot of great fighters but he is good at avoiding fighting them when he knows they are in their pomp.
390. Pointless trying to explain the facts to PGB - he'll only focus on the fact a lightweight lost 2 fights at light heavy. I doubt he's ever even seen SRL fight, nor Pernell, Duran, Hearns or Robinson. According to him, Mayweather even tops Marciano and Ali. Johnny-Come-Lately desperate to make a point but only succeeding in making a fool of himself. FM the greatest ever? My Erse!
As much as I wanted Pacquiao to win Mayweather outclassed him in 10 rounds I think he ought to give Kahn a match. My opinion is that Kahn has faster hands than Pacquiao & Mayweather, yes he does have a questionable chin but Mayweather isn't renown for knock out power I think it would be better than the Pacquiao & Mayweather match.
FM is great at what he does, self promote and avoid fighting, it was a day in the office for FM. If i'd paid some of the huge sums quoted to watch a 'great' run round the ring for 12 rounds I'd be devastated, I was gutted I got up at 4am for it!! I felt sorry for Pacman, he trained for a fight and ended up chasing the Usain Bolt of the boxing world all night. The FM stage management continues!
