Welsh flyweight Andrew Selby's impressive start to his professional career continued with a points victory over Nicaraguan Everth Briceno.

Selby, 26, won every round in the six-round contest in Carshalton, Surrey against an experienced 37-year-old, who has twice fought for a world title.

The Welshman beat Haji Juma on his professional debut in October, and then beat Jozsef Ajtai in November.

He feels a world title shot is realistic after another eight bouts.

With two European Championship gold medals (2011 and 2013) and a silver medal at the 2011 World Championships, Selby is classed as Wales' most successful amateur boxer.

He can also boast an unbeaten 10-fight record in the World Series of Boxing, a professional competition open to amateurs.

His brother is current World IBF Featherweight champion Lee Selby.
