Natasha Gale: GB boxer guarantees medal at European Boxing Championships
Great Britain's Natasha Gale is guaranteed at least a bronze medal at the European Women's Boxing Championships in Sofia.
Gale, from Sheffield, won her 75kg class quarter-final on a unanimous decision against Timea Nagy of Hungary.
The 18-year-old, one of four members of the Great Britain squad competing in Bulgaria, will fight Wales' Lauren Price in Tuesday's semi-final.
British team-mates Lisa Whiteside and Sandy Ryan are also guaranteed medals.
Whiteside faces Russia's Elena Saveleva in the semi-final of the 51kg class, while Ryan fights Finland's Mira Potkonen in her 60kg semi-final.
Several other British boxers - including Price - are representing their nations in the competition but are not part of the Great Britain squad.
Ireland's Christine Desmond is in the other half of the draw to Gale and faces Croatia's Anamarija Marsic in her semi-final.
