Flanagan's a fantastic boxer, but Linares or Mikey Garcia would eat him for breakfast - they are just that good, and Lomachencko is even more talented than they are. In any case Frank Warren just does not have the influence as a promoter that he had 20 years ago so any shot at these fighters would end up being an away day for Flanagan, which turns a very improbable victory to a near impossible one
He is very good but difficult to sell to the casual market.
Shame he'll never fight Crolla because he's a Warren fighter, gotta hate boxing politics.
WBO, pfft micky mouse title anyway.
5. frenchie1971I read this report of a world title fight (you don't know much about boxing, do you?). I didn't read the story of a female boxer's pro debut.
funny there isn't loads of sad boys over here banging on about the BBC pushing Nicola Adams because she is a black woman, reporting here of a boxer nobody has ever heard of is fine though.... oh the hypocrisy
Simmered, sizzled, boiling point - someone's enjoyed the return of Masterchef
Couldn't beat AJ!!Brexit means brexit.
Decent fight, but not many big shots thrown by either fighter. Flanagan will need a better test, although he'll need to step up a bit from tonight's performance if he wants to win against the very best.
Linares looks like a good fight to get some proper credability
