A honest boxer and a honest man. Good luck Frank and thanks for all you done for the sport.
An honest and decent guy by what I’ve seen of him, always felt he could have achieved more but then sadly never really hit the screens as big as he deserved... wish you well 👊🏻
Wise move by Frank. Good fighter but not world class. He's realised that before becoming a journeyman.
&4 JayRM what a pathetic, cowardly and cretinous comment. People like you spoil online interaction for decent people as you crawl from under your rock with snide, hateful and jealous comments. Good luck in retirement Frank - you are worth a million snivelling little toads like JayRM.
We sat on Frank's table for the 2017 boxing awards whilst he was with his dad. A really nice lad! Good luck Frank in everything you do!
Frank is a winner and I hope he leaves boxing knowing he is. A winner because he followed his ambition, tested himself to the limit, felt the joy , felt the pain on the journey. But he went on the journey, and for that he is a winner.
@4 more people will care about him than you.
I can see why he's knocking it on the head but I'd have quite liked to have seen him come back to domestic level and maybe have a crack at winning the Lonsdale belt outright.
Frank was a good fighter, vastly overlooked by mainstream boxing promotions, so never got the attention he deserved from the likes of $ky, who seem to pick a handful of boxers and follow them more closely than they necessarily deserve, whilst more talented fighters stay under the radar of 'casual' fans.Good decision from Frank: he's had a good career and still has his health. Happy retirement!
Whos gonna pad out Eddie Hearns undercards now he's retired?
Gave an honest assessment after his loss at the weekend, but if you consider he was schooled by someone ranked 10 in the world by the IBF (and only as he has a fringe belt) and he lost to Johnson who got demolished by Beterbiev (himself currently just a top 5) there really is no where for him to turn. Seems like a stand up guy so sure he'll succeed at what's next and wish him the best.
Decent fighter, but only British level at best. Callum Johnson smoked him in one round, and Fanlong Meng was beating him easily on Saturday before the stoppage. Probably best to call it quits before he gets damaged. Enjoy your retirement frank.
Never heard of himI'm sure all three people who have will really care about his retirement
An admirable man - wish him all the best for his retirement. I admire his eloquence and honesty in his statement. All the best to him and his family
His career was about on par with David Price, who receieved a thousand times more hype and attention. Boxing is a harsh, unfair sport. Hope he enjoys retirement.
An honest fighter I hope Frank enjoys his retirement and wish him every success in the future
