Commonwealth Games: Guernsey add eight to Glasgow team
World number 22 squash player Chris Simpson is among eight athletes added to the Guernsey squad for July's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Garry Collins, Todd Priaulx and Matthew Le Ber make up the bowls men's triples team, with Le Ber also playing in the singles.
Lucy Beere has been confirmed as their ladies' bowls singles representative.
Shooters Peter Jory, Nick Mace (both full-bore rifle) and Tara Laine (pistol) have also made the cut.
Jory carried the Guernsey flag at the opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and finished four points short of a bronze medal in the pairs competition with his brother Adam.
It is the second group of athletes picked by Guernsey's Commonwealth Games Association, taking the team total to 19, with more to come.
The island last won a Commonwealth Games medal, a bronze, in shooting in 1994.
