Australia's Meagen Nay and Jacqui Freney have withdrawn from the Commonwealth Games just over two weeks before the event starts in Glasgow.

Reigning Commonwealth 200m backstroke champion Nay, 25, has a shoulder injury.

Freney, 22 and an eight-time gold medallist at the 2012 Paralympic Games, is suffering from fatigue.

Swimming Australia named Madison Wilson and Lakeisha Patterson as their replacements.
