Walkovers win first Jersey Evening League outing

InfrasoftTech Walkovers opened their Jersey Evening League campaign with a 49-run win over Jackson Fox Hautlians.

Walkovers notched up 139-3 in their 16 overs, with 50 from Ian Crocker and an unbeaten 38 from Ben Beeley.

Jackson Fox Hautlians were restricted to 90-8 in reply, as Beeley followed up his impressive batting performance by taking 4-10 with the ball.

Rathbones OV's also started the season with a win, comfortably beating St John by five wicket.

Ashburton were the final winners in the opening round, overcoming Beeches by eight wickets.
