|Close of play, day three: Sussex 177 & 275-2 beat Somerset 213 & 235 by 8 wickets|
|Sussex 19pts, Somerset 4pts|
Sussex moved into the top half of the Division One table after taking less than an hour to wrap up their third County Championship win of the season.
They needed just 56 minutes to complete an eight-wicket victory over pre-season title favourites Somerset at Hove.
Chris Nash added just nine more runs to his overnight score before being bowled by Steve Kirby for 120.
But Luke Wells (32no) and Murray Goodwin (27no) saw their side home to leapfrog above Somerset in the table.
Nash seemed in a rush to complete a quick victory as he took boundaries off Charl Willoughby and Kirby, the latter a superbly timed back-foot drive which sped to the cover boundary.
But he perished to the next delivery, although he could hardly do anything about a ball from Kirby which barely rose above ankle height as it clattered into his off stump.
Nash has now hit 656 Championship runs, five more than his opening partner Ed Joyce, with whom he shared a first-wicket stand of 201 on Friday to put Sussex in a winning position.
