|Nottinghamshire 183-6 beat Northants 160-6 by 23 runs|
Alex Wakely's half-century could not prevent Nottinghamshire stretching their lead at the top of the FL t20 North Group to four points.
Adam Voges, this season's FL t20 leading run scorer, made 49 and his Australian team mate David Hussey 33 as Notts amassed 183-6 against Northants.
Darren Pattinson took 2-32 to pass 50 wickets in Twenty20 cricket, while Samit Patel also claimed two scalps.
Wakely's unbeaten 61 was the highlight as the visitors fell short on 160-6.
Bilal Shafayat, who has just returned to Northants on a match-by-match basis, made 37 from 34 balls against his former county, but four batsmen were dismissed for single-figure scores.
The platform for Nottinghamshire's sixth victory in eight matches was laid by Riki Wessels, also playing against his former club, as he smashed six fours in making 29 off only 19 balls.
David Willey impressed with the ball for the visitors, taking 3-31, while Andrew Hall took 2-37.
