|Durham 187-5 (20 ovs) beat Leicestershire 184-8 (20 ovs) by three runs|
Three wickets from Mitchell Claydon helped Durham fight back to narrowly beat Leicestershire in the FL t20.
The home side reached 187-5, with Gordon Muchall's 50-ball 64 catching the eye.
Leicestershire looked set to win after racing to 113-2 off 10 overs, aided by Will Jefferson's 63 from 30 balls.
But they lost momentum when Jefferson and Jacques du Toit (33) both fell within nine balls as Leicestershire finished three runs short.
Durham coach Geoff Cook told BBC Newcastle:
"It's always a good sign when you win the close games and that was really the first close game we've really had. When we've batted well we've won comfortably and when we have batted poorly we have lost quite comfortably.
"Today was a good performance and they have all come through with flying colours, particularly Rushworth and Claydon at the end.
"Gordon did well with the bat. He didn't panic but he didn't have to because the runs were being added at the other end and he came off at the end with a very creditable 60."
