|Worcestershire 130-4 (19.3 ovs) beat Northants 129-9 (20 ovs) by six wickets|
Saeed Ajmal claimed a triple-wicket maiden to help Worcestershire ease to a six-wicket FL t20 win over Northants.
The Pakistan spinner (4-14) pinned Rob Newton lbw and had both Stephen Peters and David Lucas caught and bowled.
Teenage seamer Aneesh Kapil also took 3-9 as Northants stumbled to 129-9 before David Lucas (3-19) reduced Worcestershire to 45-4 in reply.
But Vikram Solanki (62no) and Daryl Mitchell (40no) put on 85 to see their side home with three balls to spare.
Victory lifted Worcestershire to third in the North Group, with five games to play, while Northants remain rooted to the bottom after a sixth defeat in nine.
Northants captain Andrew Hall told BBC Radio Northampton:
"We got a great start and batted well in the middle period - but then lost key wickets at key times again.
"At the back end of the innings we didn't get anything going and a triple-wicket maiden in the last over didn't help us at all.
"We've got seven more games - we just have to go out there, work hard, play our best and hopefully a couple of results will go our way."
