Worcestershire maintained their push for an FL t20 quarter final place, beating local rivals Warwickshire by six runs in a low scoring game.

The Pears struggled to 112-7 from their 20 overs, James Cameron top-scoring with 37.

However the visitors lost wickets at regular intervals, with only three players reaching double figures.

No Worcestershire bowlers went for more than a run a ball, Jack Shantry particular impressing with 2-23.

On a slow surface, Warwickshire left themselves needing 12 runs from the last over, bowled by Saeed Ajmal.

But the Pakistan international's experience came to the fore as he spun his side to victory, finishing with figures of 1-19 from his four overs.
