Match scorecard |
Gloucestershire recorded their second lowest Twenty20 score as they were thrashed by Glamorgan at Bristol.
After opting to bat first, the hosts were bowled out for just 81, Simon Jones, Alex Jones, Will Owen and Nick James all taking two wickets each.
Kane Williamson top-scored with 20, but could not prevent a 10-wicket defeat.
Glamorgan eased to their target with six overs to spare, with openers Alviro Petersen and Mark Cosgrove unbeaten on 42 and 37 respectively.
Veteran bowler Robert Croft produced the most economical figures by a Glamorgan bowler in t20 cricket, as he conceded only 10 runs from his four-over spell.
But the result made no difference to the Twenty20 standings as neither side can qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.
POST-MATCH VIEWS
BBC Wales reporter Nick Webb:
"A best ever t20 bowling performance saw Glamorgan stroll to their fourth victory of the campaign and end a six match losing run.
"Glamorgan's bowling has been fairly consistent through the competition and Gloucestershire's own struggles were badly exposed as they crashed to 81 all out.
"Simon Jones's two for 18 earned him man of the match. Youngsters Alex Jones, Nick James and Will Owen also claimed two apiece and Robert Croft's one for 10 was the most economical spell ever for Glamorgan.
"Alviro Petersen and Mark Cosgrove knocked the runs off with six overs to spare, leaving Glamorgan wishing the revival had come earlier in the competition."
