Glamorgan on top against Derbyshire after two centuries

Centuries from Jim Allenby and Mark Wallace put Glamorgan into a strong position against Derbyshire.
The visitors began the day on 39-2, but that soon became 69-5 with Jonathan Clare (3-87) and Tony Palladino (3-85) amongst the wickets.
Allenby (113) and Wallace (104) put on 217 for the sixth wicket, while Will Owen (69) and James Harris (60no) then added 121 for the last wicket.
After Glamorgan were all out for 445, the hosts closed on 15-1, 70 behind.

"Glamorgan ended a remarkable day's cricket in a strong position - this after their last five wickets had put on 376 runs.
"Jim Allenby and Mark Wallace with a century apiece put on a record 217 for the sixth wicket. The James Harris and Will Owen shared another record with 121 for the 10th wicket.
"From 69-5, Glamorgan went on to claim maximum batting points and a lead of 85. Derbyshire had four overs to bat at the end of the first day and they'll refuse on 15-1 - a wicket for Harris.
"Glamorgan now have a chance to win this game, all this after an astonishing second day's play."
