Guernsey thrashed Norway by 10 wickets in their opening ICC European Division One match at the KGV.
Guernsey bowled Norway out for just 57 as Jamie Nussbaumer returned figures of 3-7, while Jeremy Frith took 3-15.
In reply Guernsey coasted to their target in just 7.1 overs, with Tim Ravenscroft scoring an unbeaten 31 and Ross Kneller hitting 25 not out.
Guernsey face Croatia at the College Field at 1600 BST on Tuesday in their second game.
Kneller told BBC Guernsey: "The first game is vital for us to come out and apply what we've been practicing, so to come out and win so convincingly - we couldn't ask for more.
"Low scores like that can sometimes be a bit of a banana skin and you could end up knocking them off losing three or four wickets and coming out of the game quite negatively if you struggle like that.
"To go out and knock them off in quite a quick time was really good."
