POST-MATCH REACTION

Middlesex skipper Neil Dexter told BBC London 94.9:

"We've been playing some really good cricket, I think we were on top throughout the game.

"Chris Rogers and I decided to take the runs as quickly as possible to take the nerves away and we got there in the end.

"If we beat Northamptonshire, then we are in a really good position and we don't have to worry too much about what other teams are doing."
