Young Will Owen inspired Glamorgan Dragons to a shock win over previously unbeaten leaders Somerset in their Clydesdale Bank 40 clash in Cardiff.

Seamer Owen took four wickets for just 31 runs as Glam restricted Somerset to 201 for eight in their 40 overs with opener Peter Trego top-scoring with 64.

Openers Gareth Rees and Alviro Petersen shared a 69-run partnership to provide the catalyst for Glamorgan's triumph.

Nick James also hit 43 in Glamorgan's first one-day win for three months.

The Welsh county's first limited-overs win over Somerset in Cardiff for 12 years boosts their outside hopes of qualification for the knockout stages.
