Seamer Owen took four wickets for just 31 runs as Glam restricted Somerset to 201 for eight in their 40 overs with opener Peter Trego top-scoring with 64.
Openers Gareth Rees and Alviro Petersen shared a 69-run partnership to provide the catalyst for Glamorgan's triumph.
