Glamorgan beat Leicestershire by 108 runs at Colwyn Bay to move into the Division Two promotion hunt.
After starting the final day on 146-4, Will Bragg took his overnight 67 on to 110 before Glamorgan declared on 216-7, setting Leicestershire 300 to win.
But the visitors, who enterprisingly declared 83 runs behind on Friday to set up a result, were not in the frame.
William Owen and Jim Allenby both took three wickets as they were bowled out for 191.
Spin twins Dean Cosker and Robert Croft pitched in with two wickets apiece to help earn Glamorgan only their fourth Championship win of the summer - and steer them to within range of second-placed Middlesex.
